S&T: Sandbox World War II TBS App Reviews

This game is very in-depth and the visuals and GUI are very informative without being distracting or obtrusive. I could seriously play it for hours, there is so much to the gameplay. The goal of the sandbox is to complete the objective of your choosing. Theres a lot of units at your disposal and all the space in the map that you need. Bait your opponent with seemingly vulnerable infantry and once they come forth, encircle them with jeeps, bombard them from the air or sea and send your tanks in to finish the job. However, there are some issues. Theres no online multiplayer, you cant easily configure countries alliances, and playing the game on battery is a very bad idea due to how quickly it would drain. Musics pretty good although I would like more tracks from the last game included in this one.

Absolutely amazing game love it but would be even better if a map of North America was added or Africa and the Middle East or even a world map

Hours of challenging fun. Could hardly be more pleased, except if you buy points the unused portion should remain after the scenario is won or lost. Or allow one to buy smaller amounts.

Very addicting, but it needs improvements.

Not a bad time killer. Has anybody ever figured out how to actually make alliances with others. It seems to be an important feature but offers no explanation on how to actually do it.

Great game but Spain never militarily entered ww2 the closest to that were some volunteers joining the Germans or French other wise no problems

As a Hearts of Iron Veteran I have been looking for a challenging WW2 strategy game for the iPhone and I found it! Well worth the price for varied strategic fun. You deserve the 5 star rating; however, I would like the addition of diplomacy, a clarification of what fortifications do and the option for increased difficulty. Please continue to update and improve the game and I will love you forever. P.S I have never felt motivated enough to review a game before, but this has been a god send for between classes.

Your strategic war games are wonderful,and would like to see you all make more and please add a Antartica mod here too and add a World Map conquest and please keep on making these games to get those people who dont like historical war games in thanks

This game is awesome, but I would love customization, like picking whose on your team, to help countries like Estonia and Ireland! It would be awesome to put Germany on the commies side or America on the axis!

So cool! I have a few update suggestions. First, another map. An map of North Africa would be fun and would add a lot to the game. Second, diplomacy. A very simple diplomatic aspect would be fun. But overall a great game already!!

First, this game is by far the best Ive come across for use on our iPads, smart phones, etc. Now the recommendations. First, speed up the time it takes for the other nations to make their moves. It only takes about a minute, but when I was anxious to make my next move, that minute feels like a very long time. Second, provide a way for the player to examine the screen after the moves have been made. There are times a move looks like a smart move until you actually see the map with the moves completed.y I can think of two ways for you to consider. The first is the addition of a 15 second timer to undo each move. The second, and my preference, is to add a "confirmation button" that is pressed after all the moves are completed and the player is satisfied with them. Pressing the confirmation would initiate the turns of the other countries. If the players not satisfied with the moves, he or she presses the cancel button which returns all the moves during that turn to their original positions and the player starts the moves over. Finally, consider adding basic and advanced levels of play. The difference being the cost of the reinforcements. Ive been playing the game for a couple weeks and there are several reinforcements that I havent come close to being able to purchase. I would enjoy the game equally as much if the game was more challenging but the reinforcements were a little easier to obtain. Thanks for the fun game and I hope these suggestions help.

Its a great app but if you get really far in sand box mode it will crash and force you to start over

Very frustrating because this game has a lot of potential. After spending 4 hours each on multiple game variations, each has crashed and cannot load the saved game. So you are forced to restart or choose a new scenario. Whats the point of playing knowing that eventually the game is going to crash and youll never complete the scenario??? I have been buying apps for over 6 years and have never had a problem spending money for an app that I thought was worth it. But for $10, I feel cheated. I have never said this but I want my money back. BTW, I am running on a 6S Plus with latest iOS version.

I love this game. Absolutely love it. Ive played the other strategy and tactics games from World War 2 to the medieval games. But the issue here is that I cant even play the game. Im getting impatient because I like the game a lot, and can play it on my IPod 5, but that is so old it lags like crazy and I cant get through the first five pieces of the game without waiting ten minutes every move. So I upgraded to my IPhone 6 s. An improvement right? But no. Its not. I can choose stuff, play the tutorial and start loading the game. It gets to 40% then just crashes. Quits right back to the home screen like I never entered. I tried restarting my phone, upgrading IOS and downgrading it, deleting and re downloading it but nothing works. This is very upsetting so please fix it.

Bought the game last update and it didnt work and with the new update they are yet to fix it. I imagine this is a really fun game, if it was playable. Its truly insulting to the customer knowing that you add an update to the game that doesnt even fix the huge problem from the last update. Please fix your game Ive been waiting 2 weeks.

Its great to see that the game is still being worked on and hasnt been abandoned. That being said I think there are a few things to touch on the game. It seems that the AI countries have a steady growth in development regardless of their income, this does make the game more challenging but also unbalanced and unfair if you are playing as a nonaligned country. And on alliances, the ability to declare yourself neutral or or switch sides would be a neat feature to add in a future update. Anyways happy to see that this isnt dead to you and excited for what you give us in the future.

I love this game and Im glad that you guys havent abandoned this game. I would like a diplomacy scree where you can choose what side you want or be neutral. I would love to see a multiplayer. That would be good for a future update. But a problem Ive been having is no sound effects. I have music but no SFX. I hope you fix that later on.

The game is great until there are too many pieces on the board. Then it crashes every 5-10 minutes.

I love this game. It keeps me entertained for hours. However whenever I try to play one of my saved games it crashes over and over!
